"Taco Bell Fries" Topic

Taco Bell sucks. Now that that fact is out in the open, let me say that I eat there about once a month because I'm a glutton for punishment and I like their "Cheesy Gordita Crunch". I read an article that discussed their upcoming "Nacho Fries" and had to give them a try. They are French fried potatoes / chips that are dusted with "Mexican" spices and served with a processed nacho cheese dipping sauce. I'm not a fan of the sauce, but the fries are good. Really good. Not excellent, but surprisingly tasty, considering the source. They were crispy and tasty from the spice mix, but not spicy hot. I recommend giving them a try, if you are so inclined.

Taco Bell is one place I never eat. Last time I was there the manager looked like a slob covered in frijoles and the staff wasn't much better. Made me wonder when they had cleaned last. BTW I do eat "fast food" on a regular basis.

I try to only go to fast food places when the senior citizens are working. They are less likely to screw with my food.

About twenty years ago there was an incident at a local Taco Bell where an employee defecated and ejaculated in the food and served it. I ate at that exact location earlier in the week before the news broke. I have no idea if I was a victim of this but it certainly made me re think where and when I ate.

I've tried the new fries, they are similar to the potato cubes that are on the dollar menu. Not bad, but they taste baked, they have a bit of a skin to them.

Still McDonalds and Five Guys for the win!

No doubt, McDonald's and five guys are great fries (slight edge to the Golden Arches)! I really try hard not to think about what's going on in the kitchen…

I check the mens room in any fast food joint. Dirty mens room = dirty employees and food.

Ya they do taste baked. I won't get them again.
