A great author – The Earthsea books have stood the test of time. Not afraid to tackle difficult topics either. And great writing too.

With 20th on this. The Earthsea stories are a long time favorite of mine. Another icon moves on.

A great author with the Earthsea books, The Left Hand of Darkness and one of my favorites, The Lathe of Heaven. A giant HAS passed. RIP!

I didn't know about the Pulitzer. What was she nominated for?
