It always assumes that I am wrong and stupid.

I've heard that 'autocorrect' isn't and doesn't…

Winston, why do you think it's only an assumption?

Autocorrect would be great, I do believe it saves more time than it costs, provided you are a boring person. If you need to type "Elvorix" or "Herodotus" or "yggdrasil" or "Andorian" or "balrog" or "Quar" or "crit" or "reroll" or "CRT", etc, etc. I will love autocorrect when it learns a little faster – if it would just assume that after it changes "cottonclad" to "cotton clad" and I change it back, *twice*, that maybe I *want* "cottonclad".

At the same time, it *doesn't* see fit to alter "cant" or "won;t". I'm trying to teach mine that "don;t" should be changed to "don't", but it's not working yet.

Well to be fair, "cant" is a real word. But you're point is well taken. My iPad keeps wanting to type "can't" because that is what is usually used when I write.

I prefer that my words get underlined if they are questionable, and then leave the editing to me.

Winston, why do you think it's only an assumption?

Sorry Winston, but that is funny.

Even worse is I spent around 2 years typing names and places here and a recent update scratched it all and I'm starting all over.

Just be glad t doesn't correct your sentence to say what you really think….

"Cant" is a real word, but so is "wont" and I bet I mean "can't" or "won't" a thousand time for every time I mean the other.

It use to feel like my iPhone was learning the kinds of things I tend to say and was anticipating usefully, but now it's not as great as it was.

"Cant" is a real word, but so is "wont"….

And, oddly enough, both of them can mean "inclination".
