…actually DOWNLOAD an Audible book so that you can slam it onto your MP3 player for use in the car (I don't have/want a SMART phone), or taking a hike, etc.?

Download it to you computer and the load it from there to your MP3 player

jdg…sounds simple enough and I will try it, but I thought Audible was uber-proprietary (as is Amazon) and even though you own E-books or Recorded books…you're not allowed to download them because then they lose control of said item.

PLEASE, by all means, correct me if I'm wrong! grin
