I sometimes would like to share pictures of my figs on TMP but don't know how. I understand you need a URL for the picture to be shared or you need to link to a blog or web page. My level of digital picture expertise is that I can take a picture with my digital camera and downloaded to my desktop computer. From there I am lost. I don't want to pay for some type of service to hold my photos on-line. I don't know if it costs to set up a blog or web site on which to post my pictures. If anyone can offer any assistance, I would appreciate it. My figures are not painted great, but sometimes I think my soldier table battle scenes look nice enough that I would like to show them off. Thank you. |

I relate. You will need to park your images on a photo-hosting website and then copy the URL link for that image into your TMP posting (copy and paste). Like a lot of folks here I used PhotoBucket's free service for years, but now PB is charging up the wazoo for this "third party hosting," so I've abandoned it and found another; having very good luck so far with "VGY.Me", basic services but free and easy to use. vgy.me There are others out there, too. I picked VGY.Me after eading the reviews in this article: link Make your choice, upload your images to one of these services, and share freely here on TMP! Looking forward to your pictures! |

I started using tinypic.com Working so far for this tech dummy. |

It looks like tinypic.com would work for me. After 90 days, evidently it deletes the pictures put up. According to what I found, it is owned by Photbucket, which may explain why they stopped their free availability. |
