I appear to be in the minority here but yes I still watch American football and enjoy it very much. I follow my team, which I have done through good times and bad. I structure my week around the Sunday game. I have enjoyed watching other teams at their stadiums across the country. Especially enjoyed a Tampa Bay vs Seattle game last year with my son at their stadium. Great fun and a exciting game. I do not understand or do fantasy football but enjoy talking with my son about it and listening to him and his friends talk about it. At home, I see no evidence of lower attendance; heck I wish it was true as most games are sold out and it is very difficult to get tickets. Season ticket waiting list is a mile long and growing.

If this is only about the taking the knee protest, then let me say I have no problem with it. This gentleman sums up my feelings and says what I feel;

Powerful stuff.

I usually just listen to a game or two on the radio.

Funniest thing I've heard all year was the praise given to NASCAR owners who said they would fire any of their drivers or crew that protested.

Talk about a promise you will never have to keep!

Once it got political I stopped watching and realized I don't really miss it.

I watch the weekly highlights shows, but rarely find 3 hours on a Sunday to watch a game live.

That said I do attend all the International Series games in London.

Valid complaint – wrong communication platform.

Take a knee in front of the police station.

I'm watching Rugby now. I played that longer than football (gridiron).

In San Francisco tickets that normally cost $85 USD were going for $14. USD I guess it does not help if your team is 0-4.

You don't have to worry about protests all you need are officials who rule out perfectly good game winning touchdowns, like the one that went against the Redskins last night!

The fact it would have beaten KC at the Arrowhead obviously had nothing to do with it. Maybe that's what they mean by "home field advantage".

Only watched my Eagles, no game wear as I have done for 30 years
