"When researchers traveled to a tiny, uninhabited island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, they were astonished to find an estimated 38 million pieces of trash washed up on the beaches." link Two thoughts come to mind: #1 – Who was the poor schmuck under grad that had to count it? #2 – Any truth to the rumor that China has allocated funds to establish an airbase to defend the island and trash? |

"#2 – Any truth to the rumor that China has allocated funds to establish an airbase to defend the island and trash?" So are those the lame excuses China is using now to justify further expansion? They just keep inching along, don't they? Well, if global warming and ocean trash are our biggest existential threat,s why not capitalize on that and portray yourself as the greatest best hope for the planet. Geesh. Dan |
