Is anyone seriously considering this?

Here is the website:

Here a short video with the designer explaining his design:

Just one criticism:

Full disclosure: I absolutely hate flying and have successfully avoided it for over a decade.

My main reason for not flying would be because of the airlines and their disgraceful attitude towards customers.

Hey,what's the problem? He was just being "re-accomodated".

Didn't he see the ad before he booked?

Nice one.

The YouTube criticism has some points to be examined, but I think his explanations and graphics are oversimplifications being applied without the benefit of whatever engineering has been done.

I fly with some regularity for work, not out of choice.

I don't know if this would be better or not. I do know that I've been in some heavy cross wind landings where I wasn't sure the wheels would hit the ground before the wing.

Why the cognitive dissonance? Nine out of ten scientists agree that airplanes are the safest way to fly. :)

So you have to drive across the runway to get to the terminal. Yeah, that's not going to cause any sort of problem at all.

That's why there's an access tunnel…

The idea of a circular runway was tried before…and failed. This guy is out of his mind to think it'll work for heavy lifters (A380s, 747s, 777s, etc).

Any facts to back that up? Oh, I forgot, facts confuse you….

To be fair to united the guy left under protest then snuck back onto the plane and has anger management issues

Jokes don't confuse me. But humor seems to escape you….

Terrement11 Apr 2017 9:20 p.m. PST

Certainly escaped you…

The airport design does make a lot of sense. After all the airlines are well known for giving people the run around.

So there I go thinking that this would be about that incident on an United Aircraft.
