… You say that like it's a bad thing.

The only really scary thing I see is another ice age. And we are helping to knock that back another c. 100K years. Yea, us……………

Well yes so we stop Global Warming and we all freeze to death.

Great War Ace28 Mar 2017 9:34 a.m. PST

Not to death. Just freeze. We dress warmly in the "summer". And as many of us as possible move to the equator. Sounds doable. But only with a much smaller population. And it doesn't sound very fun, unless you like ice climbing……..

Hmm …

What if, instead of terraforming the planet to be warmer, the aliens are convincing us to make it cooler?

Should be fun in a few year's time, scuba diving in places like London and New York.

That's gonna be so awesome!

PS. Just look at all the land our careless ancestors flooded:

This really reminds me of the 2013 film The Colony, when the towers set up to prevent global warming resulted in a frozen planet:

When we have whole threads here on TMP about movie producers using the wrong mark of T-34 in Enemy at the Gates, the use of Lee-Metfords in Zulu despite it being issued about 10 years after the battle…

They why should we treat Day After Tomorrow or The Colony as documentaries?

Cacique Caribe29 Mar 2017 11:15 p.m. PST

Who said they were documentaries?

Frankenstein isn't a documentary either, but it's still a cautionary tale.
