link Despite any controversy that was in his past, Chuck Berry was a true pioneer of rock 'n roll. His guitar technique and showmanship would be an inspiration to many rock-based groups and individuals such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many, many others. He was also seen in a couple of early rock-based movies like 'Rock Rock Rock!' and 'Go, Johnny, Go!' performing his early hits. He was 90 years old. Godspeed, Mr. Berry, and thank you very, very much. |

If the history of Rock'n'Roll were condensed his name would still figure prominently. His influence on rock acts, that would become legendary, is undisputed. RIP! |
