Colo, the first gorilla born in captivity died in her sleep on Tuesday morning at the Columbus Zoo. She was 60 years old, the oldest gorilla in captivity. She is survived by gorillas all across the country. She had six children, sixteen grand children, and three great grand children. Anyone who saw her at the zoo will never forget her. R.I.P.

Hopefully she will be remembered as one of the originators that helped save her species and one day her offspring line will be back in their original habitats in a safe and rational world. Go well Colo.

Well at 60 I assume she was treated well her whole life or she would not have reached that age.

I can only second Zargons words.
