Not so sure it's going to suck at all. Michael Pena ("Ponch") is a good actor and looks like they comedized the 80's cop drama like what was done successfully for '21 Jump Street.' Making it funny is the right approach to take. The guy who plays Jon Baker is Dax Shepard, and his real life wife Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) is also in it. Not saying it's going to be great based on one trailer, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it either.

Erik Estrada is probably just sour that he has no cameo and they made it into an action-comedy.

The 'Baywatch' movie could be a hit. Dwayne Johnson is on an unstoppable streak and people devour buddy comedies like popcorn. I see that the hot Indian from 'Quantico' is in it too.

Well I won't waste my time or money on it.

I think you are right – it's ripe for parody, but not much else.

Not going to watch it and Erik Estrada is right the movie sucks.

They could have made it into a great Action flick but instead they are going to make it into a toilet humor movie.
