But it's easy to forget that even in a year overflowing with the deaths of beloved celebrities, rampant police violence, rampant regular violence, and some sort of election (we think), science just keeps right on trudging through the sludge of human misery to bring us incredible advances that are sure to make us all immortal or, at the very least, make cows fart a lot less…"
