If it means an unusually cooler Texas summer, well….. thumbs up

Lovely…. And from that scion of journalism THE DAILY MAIL…

In a short answer, NO. No mini ice-age is in the offing. The total temperature drop by the Maunder Minimum (the proper term for the effect) is more than offset by other increases. In fact, IIRC, the total temperature drop due to the Maunder Minimum is less than 1C (and easily offset by other ongoing effects).

Would be nice if the mass media could get their science reporting right (but I should live so long….).

I bet Climate Depot will manufacture a lot of traction with that.

Mithmee11 Nov 2016 4:40 a.m. PST

Global Warmers/Climate Changers will work the numbers and in the end state that the Ice at the Poles will end up melting.

mandt211 Nov 2016 8:50 p.m. PST

Yeah, I don't believe in science either.

Uh, they already are melting. The Arctic ice sheet has been thinning out for some time.

Global Warmers/Climate Changers will work the numbers and……..

And next, the Astronomers/Astrophysicists will work the numbers and say the Universe is expanding.

And those stupid Greeks working on the number making it look like the earth is round. And it was much better before Newton worked those numbers, we used to all float and be happy. Then Newton and his numbers forced gravity on us

mandt215 Nov 2016 11:00 p.m. PST

I don't believe in gravity either.

If gravity is real, how come my cat can stand up when she's lying down?

Checkmate statists!

Last Hussar18 Nov 2016 5:35 p.m. PST

They've measured temperatures of +1'C at the Arctic this month.

Your cat is a gravitational denialist.
