Fantasy film that takes place in Egypt before Egyptian. Ruled by a Scottish God along with mostly Caucasian Gods with a smattering of people of color. Guess they could not fine any actors of color to play themselves :)
Watchable, yes. Good, not really.

Agree. Not as bad as I though it would be, but felt like I was watching a video game.

Reports say producers saw the success (?) of Clash of the Titans and though they could do the same with Egyptian mythology. Lots of gods and stories for plenty of movies. Needed a few name actors to attract an audience. Flopped on all levels.

Ye Gods of Horrywood.
My eyes would bleed watching that.

It wasn't quite as bad as it could have been.
It wasn't quite as good as it should have been.

I have to say I was impressed at the seamless way they made the gods about ten feet tall compared to the mortals. That worked very well. Overall, it was kind of meh, but as noted by others, not as bad as it might have been.

Funny, I hear complaints like this one a lot, (not saying you're complaining bandit, just an observation), not using "people of color" to portray "people of color". Yet if someone points out that James Bond is caucasion when a black actor is considered for the role, or points out the guy playing Alexander Hamilton is Hispanic, there are very loud cries of racism. Just seems a odd to me.

There are those who complain that Game of Thrones is under represented with People of Color too.
Ahem. GoT is supposed to be based on the War of the Totes, with some stuff regarding Highland perfidy etc.
It's fine to do Shakespeare in the Park with Actirs of Color, but let's be serious.

Egypt is another story.

Will have to keep an eye out for it.

As to the race/ethnicity of the actors, what 'color' are you looking for?

Noted actor (Lebanese father, Egyptian mother) -

Noted Egyptian actress (ex-wife of above actor) -

Now, casting some current Egyptian actors and actresses would have been nice -
