This morning it looks like Mars AA got another one

Yes, unfortunately. Apparently, the chute detached too early and the rockets didn't burn long enough to slow the descent, so the probe has probably left a decent impact crater. It should be a nice collectible when humans finally get to Mars, though!

The orbiter did work correctly, though, and is in orbit, so the mission wasn't a complete loss.
