"It's us versus them! Who are they? The germs, of course! Every day, our bodies are bombarded with harmful pathogens. It's only via the stalwart immune system that we manage to keep going. But we must always beware. Those germs and viruses can change and morph, evolving to work against our immune systems. And that's just what's happening in Pathogenesis, a new deck-building game that's up on Kickstarter.

You're not playing your immune system, by the way. No, you're playing the germs. The game seats 1-4 players, all looking to become a stronger and more virulent pathogen, constantly overcoming the body's defenses. You have to work fast, though, as the body is always evolving as well, looking to wipe you out of the system and become immune to your attacks. The game features several different modes, from solo to competitive to cooperative to team play. There's even one called Classroom…"
