How about if Sherman Klump retires and makes it a Red Sox fans dream Trifecta. Just think; years from now, some father and son will be walking down the street and A-ROID will walk past them and the father will lean over and say to the son "Jimmy, there goes the biggest fraud who ever lived"………. Jeez, who am I going to hate on the MFY's now? Hurry up and sign Bryce Harper to a 10 year 500 million dollar deal; he's a big enough toolbag to be a perfectly hateable MFY………….make it happen Costanza………….I mean Cashman. |

Nah. Nothing like kicking an arrogant SOB when he's down. When A-Rod opted out and the Yankees re-signed him, bidding successfully against them selves, well what minor interest I had in baseball jumped the shark, missed, was swallowed whole, and never seen again. |

Ain't been interested in MLB since the players AND
owners decided their own selfish interests were much
more important than the World Series. A pox on both their houses. We have a good sometimes excellent AAA team locally
and it is great to watch those guys play the game. |

I find it comical that the MFY's are spinning this as A-ROID is retiring; he's not retiring, he's being released by the MFY's. Friday is his last game, but they are still on the hook for his 27 million dollar salary next year. He'll be on the team next year as a "consultant"…………yeah right, he'll be the go to guy to consult with when someone needs Decca, Winstrol or HGH. This is the same organization that in 2009 spend half a billion (and that's BILLION with a B) on free agent salaries in order to buy another championship. They bought a championship, but they're paying for it in spades………….. |
