Congratulations Portugal! Renaldo, BTW, is a class act all the way! France was served up the recipe for disaster. They were heavy favorites. They came of a huge win over a battered Germany. Their (over)confidence entering the final was sky-high. Portugal already came in "chippy" and their resolve was bolstered when Renaldo went down. You just knew it was coming. |

Very happy Portugal won. Hated watching France's full-contact play and getting away with it. Pogba especially should have received yellow cards every game. |

As a Southampton fan I was cheering on Portugal the whole way. Jose Fonte is now the only player to have won the Johnstone paint trophy and the European cup:) |
