Obviously, this would not have been a problem for the US Mail. Wait a minute… seems it isn't it's motto, that's a myth, and ' Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.' doesn't mention seagulls so perhaps it would have been a problem for the US mail. Although swifts are birds and they're mentioned:) |

deliver certain forms of airmail… |
