France wins Group A,with Switzerland and Albania following into the knockout round;Romania off. Italy also goes to the next round,Spain too.

And France outs Germany, meeting Portugal for the final. Which has an odd air of déjà vu, as that was already the case the last time the Euro was hosted by France in 1984…

Portugal 1-0 over France, with Portugal losing Cristiano Ronaldo to injury only 8 minutes into the match and the sole goal scored by Eder in second half stoppage time.
