While the latest episode had a some cool stuff-Dany's return, the Mountain being (briefly) turned loose, Cersei's sudden dilemma, and Arya taking care of the Mean Girl- I have to question Arya's rather miraculous healing from her wounds. I mean they were not trivial and they were not the sort that you could fix simply by putting on some bandages. Seems like that could have been handled better. And she might have told the nice actress that she still had a contract on her by the Many-Faced God and was therefore in a lot of danger.

I think we are setting things up for Jaime to be the Sister Slayer.
Tommen has thrown Cersei under the bus. Basically he sentenced Dear Old Mum to death by eliminating Trial by Combat. Thank Margaery for that.
Qyburn has located the stashes of Wildfire all over the city. And she has been promising for years to "burn their cities to the ground."
And Jaime became the Kingslayer to prevent just that.
And, to book readers, he could be the Volanquar, the little brother, who slays her.

Arya's wounds are like the concussions that tv detectives used to get in the 80s.
How many times were Mannix, Harry O, or Rockford knocked out, just to come back in the last 20 minutes to beat up the Bad Guy?

I like the new face that's now in the hall. The Waif's eyes are all poked out. Just like Ser Merryn.

Milk of the poppy masks pain but you are right, She shouldnt have been able to elude the waif quite so easily.
I was hoping for a cat warging demo/trap to facilitate Arya's escape.

Well, I knew that Arya was going to kill the Mean Girl in the dark with Needle at the end of the previous episode when she blew out the candle in her little room, but the whole knife-in-the-gut thing made it seem a lot less reasonable.

Winston, I had completely forgotten the Wildfire thing and couldn't figure out what Qyburn had said! Thanks for clearing that up! And yes, Jaime will be heading back to King's Landing now so there could be a confrontation.

Personally, I'm expecting Cersei to inadvertently have the Mountain kill Tommen. She'll give him some order like: "Kill anyone who gets in my way" not thinking that Tommen might get in her way.

Nice analysis gentlemen. Overall still enjoyed the episode.

During the chase scene I noticed the stairways had had rails. Rather anachronistic and they should have been removed for shooting or CGI'd out

All set for the Battle of The Bastards next week!

Please, please, please let the Direwolf get Ramsey!

I'm betting Littlefinger arrives with the Knights of the Vale to save the day. Sansa did send off that mysterious message, after all. As for who kills Ramsey, I don't really care as long as somebody does! Mr. Evil is getting kind of tedious.

The message Sansa sent was the letter that Brienne gave to The Blackfish. A fan did a screen capture and enlargement right after the episode last week and you could clearly read that it was to him.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned our old pals The Brotherhood Without Banners making a return, it's a good while since we have see them.

Particuarly in view of The Hound's dealing out some very summary justice to the somewhat suspect members who rubbed out the commune the other week!

Yes, the return of the Brothers-and the Hound!-is interesting, but I can't see how they are going to have much affect on the great events now in motion.

Trajanus17 Jun 2016 8:08 a.m. PST

I'm sure they will get a fight somehow when Mr Freeze turns up with his army.

At the moment I'm wondering how many times the "turning up at the last minute" device is going to be worked into the rest of the plot. We have had it at the Blackwater, at the attack on Castle Black, we are all expecting it this week and you would be mad to bet against it in the last and final great battle we all assume will come against the Walkers.

Then of course we had the Dragon rescue at the fighting Pit episode and a Dany saves the day bit hanging over from this week, which looks like barbecued Slavers waiting to happen.

Be nice to find another way to unpick things before credits roll for the last time!
