Such horrible news …

As I was watching the NHL Final last night I found I got little joy over watching my beloved Pens win it all. There are those who tragically were killed or wounded in cowardly fashion all because someone did not agree with their lifestyle. These sorts of crimes are really starting to get me down.

There have been 4 massed shootings in the last 2 years. All heinous. All cowardly. But then again, what sort of crime like this isn't. When will it end?

Forty-nine innocent lives lost. The news this morning is that the five in critical condition should all pull through.

I hadn't heard that yet, Cyrus, thanks for that.

A horrible tragedy. Sad that this type of occuance is becoming all too common in our country.

A word of praise for U.S. Marine veteran Imran Yousuf who kept calm helped save many people.

And a positive shout out to my employer Jetblue who waved fees for changing flights through Orlando and is offering free flights to families of victim's. A couple months ago when a Massachusetts state trooper was killed the company did the same thing offering free flights to law enforcement officers to attend the memorial service. It's is nice to work for a company that has a heart.
