I am a bit confused on a small point, Daenerys Targaryen freed the slaves of Mareen one of her titles is the Breaker of Chains so it kinda goes to say she is against Slavery. But she is in Deep with the Dothraki and they keep slaves, Now I have not read the books but is this dealt with at all in the books or an oversight or I need them so Ill overlook it. Thanks for any insight. |

If I remember she did put some restrictions on slavery among the dothraki that she ruled. But her khalasar was never large or "normal". Also to a point the Slaver Bay slavery was especially heinous (the series has toned it down A LOT). |

The Dothraki took captives and sold them into slavery.
I dont recall if the Dothraki actuall kept their own slaves or not.
Dany has servants and hanmaidend but their status isnt really addressed in the books so far and there is no description of a typical Dothraki household. |

She freed all of the slaves under her control. Pretty much safe to say that now she controls all of the Dothraki that their slaves are now free as well. What's going to be interesting is what she will make of the seven year agreement Tyrion Lanister cooked up in response to slave owners' (Great Masters) of Meereen financing the Sons of the Harpy. Me thinks she'll not be pleased. |

I doubt she will care. She'll be too busy assigning berths to Unsullied, Second Sons and Dothraki on the Iron Fleet. |
