I was looking for a good sausage to put in both my (Semi-H) and Homemade Lentil Soup.

I DO love Trader's Joe's Spicy Chicken Andouille Sausage and I will continue to use it for when the pot will be essentially for me to make and freeze (most of it at least) for my personal use.

But some people, don't like hot/spicy…or small doses at the most…like my GF, her Dad and me rotten older sister.

So, Publix had some "Kiolbassa" brand "Polish Smoked Sausage" …Uh, Kielbasa???…on BoGo a month or so ago and I picked it up for the first time.

I made some today to use with either TJ's Lentil Soup for dinner one night or my family recipe "Baked Macaroni and Tomato" and all I can say is:

WOW!

For a commercial product and already cooked, it is "purt near damn purfect…as they say in Buckingham Palace!

Again, I'll still use TJ's (maybe more for Paella), but I think this stuff is perfect for my both of my lentil soups.

Whatta youse guise think?

So was it heavy on the pepper and garlic like the kielbasa around here? Excellent stuff. My go to sausage for klobasneks. (that's a Czech pig in blanket to y'all)

Pepper was present but not overpowering, but tonnes of garlic!

"tonnes of garlic" ? Not quite enough, then. Have to add
some….
