It's probably not the best idea to poach your eggs in plastic wrap

Didn't know that. 'Course I've never seen this done, nor would even imagine doing it.

Also, I don't like the whole "this causes/doesn't cause" XYZ change in body chemistry discussions. Most high-level, observable human biological processes have several significantly influencing factors, so talking about one of them in the absence of a discussion on the variance and covariance associated with the other main affectors doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

3. The "float test" to see if an egg is bad actually works

If you've got egg holders in your fridge, it's pretty easy to lose track of when you've popped fresh eggs in (or forgotten to remove those that have been sitting for weeks).

Yeah, like writing the purchase date on the container instead (and ignore the egg holder completely) with a magic marker is sooooooo demanding.

Thankfully there's a five-second fix you can do at home – and it's called the float test.

Quite simply, all you need to do is drop all of the suspicious eggs into a pot of water, and if they're good, they'll sink – but if they're bad, they'll float, and that means they are witches. Burn Them!!!!
