As in …

… somebody needs to replace that light blub.

… somebody needs to take out the trash/recyclables.

… somebody needs to learn to leave the room to fart.

… somebody needs to lay off the cookies.

No doubt related to "we" as in…

…we need to go to the grocery.

…we need to clean the garage

…we need to weed the garden beds

…we need to play with the cat

JJ, I didn't know you were royalty. grin

Me neither, although some folks consider me to be a royal pain in the ass!

And as it wasn't me saying the "royal 'we'" and just a member in good standing of Local 217 Peons, Peasants, Coolies and Serfs, I think the royalty just goes to the speaker…not the one who actually gets to do it.

"I am"… I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair

"I am"… I cried "I am"… said I
And I am lost and I can't
Even say why
Leavin' me lonely still

One of my official job titles at a convention I am part owner of is "In charge of 'That'". As in "Oh, I'm not in charge of that, but let me get the guy who is."

Listed as such in the convention book.

At least you are somebody. Conversations in this house go

"Has the rubbish been put out?"

One day she will understand the difference between a question and a request.
