Well, obviously you can- you can freeze most things, given a large enough freezer – so the wags pre-empted… Can lemon slices be frozen and still be usable? The amount I need in a G&T (for instance) means that most of the lemon goes bad before I use it. Its not so much the buying a lemon, its the fact that you have to have one available for occasional use. Would freezing the slices damage the flavour? |

Magic – Thanks. 'Parchment' is what we call greaseproof/baking paper, yes? Thinking that I wont need ice cubes, which will have the advantage that there will be less dilution. (Freeze grapes to use instead of ice cubes for the same reason) |

We do it all the time. Pick, wash, slice, freeze, then straight into the punch bowl for appearance, less dilution, etc. Baking parchment is a silicone impregnated paper that you can get from King Arthur Flour and other places. You can use each sheet several times, they're about twenty bucks for a hundred big sheets. They are a *huge*, *HUGE* timesaver, since not only does nothing stick but you save a lot of clean up. |

Used ordinary greaseproof paper, and it worked perfectly – they didn't stick. Wish I'd bought more lemons! Now in the freezer in a food bag. No ice on them, so should be good for not diluting the drink. |
