older family member recently was diagnosed with two new ones as well as finding two older ones that had healed. Person has respiratory problems and the two new ones have made breathing more difficult as well as the pain. Both appear to be resulting from steroid treatment for the respiratory issues and combined with recent diagnosis of osteoporosis.

Drs. are talking about vertebroplasty or kyphloplasty. Both minimally invasive outpatient procedures.

Anyone here have any experience or know about these?
