After 50+ hours of gameplay (still only 33% game profess though) I felt I had enough to compile a review of the new Witcher 3 game.
Finally we get the open world awesomeness that does justice to the universe of the Witcher series, Geralt can now travel around the war torn countryside without being confined to small areas with loading screens in between. You can walk, ride your horse or sail across the entire map which rivals Skyrim in size but which in my opinion overshadows Skyrim in terms of immersion, style and quality.

Check my blog for the full review and 61 pictures from my own gaming (beware, there might be some spoilers in what you see even though I tried to keep that to a minimum).:

I've waited since i have so much to play now, but I'll get it soon

I think the total map is many times the size of skyrim

Been having a blast playing this game.

Its a very good game.

One thing on map size its actually several maps……five since Novigrad and Velen are one map and Skelliege is 60 to 70% water. So while it is larger that is at least in Skelliege's case something of a minus since its a LOT of sailing.

Is this the game with the sexist dialog?

Played 5 hours today, got to level 3. And kill the Griffin.

Everything on max except that hair fx thing.

Running smooth at 60fps.

The first one was pretty dire regarding women. The characters in this one are very strong and the dialogue is excellent.

This one is fantastic. Legitimately one of the best RPG's in a very long time.

It did have a very bumpy release but it seems everythings been patched by now. I'm playing on PS4 and haven't had any problems at all.

21 hours into the game, just level 10, bearly scrached the surfes on the second area you are in.
