Technically, it was the first…

OK Smartie 87))

At the very worst, this novel should be interesting in terms of comparing it to what followed. I'm hoping it has considerable literary merit though.

It was one of the books that was required reading in high school. I haven't thought about it since.

Same here Winston. Still I did enjoy it though. Sure beat the crap out of Catcher in the Rye, A Separate Peace, and The Outsiders.

There are lots of books I feel I should read but know chances are I won't. Mockingbird is one of them – my loss, I think.

nazrat04 Feb 2015 7:37 a.m. PST

Yep, it is. I finally read it a few years ago and it's as good as it's always been touted to be. Fabulous stuff, and one of the few movies that actually met or surpassed it's source material.

I assume y'all are big Twilight and harry Potter fans as well? :O

@ Smokey.

Twilight is, I think, a movie. Harry Potter may have a book behind the movie as well.

We're talking books here, Smokey. You know, those paper things with words printed on them?

Smokey Roan15 Feb 2015 7:47 p.m. PST

OK, sorry. I thought this was about another Hunger Games book. :O

My reply would have been funny, instead of just weird and non sensical.

NOW I know why Ochoin had NO idea what I was talking about, and why I had NO IDEA why he had no idea.

Damnit Mane! Next time, I will read the thread before posting based on the thread title

There probably won't be a trilogy.
