I was looking a Krogers' Art of War III to use for what-if ideas. Anyone have problems with this game?

Also, any opinion on the Steel Panthers games?

Killed a lot of time with the original Steel Panthers game.

My brother killed some more with the second.

Had a friend who raved about the third.

Spending too much of my time slaving at the lead pile these days to do much computer game wise.

I enjoyed SP as well as a number of the user contributed scenarios. Good AI without "cheating" like many AIs seem to do.

They have a modern day version too. Fantastic games, though certainly hardcore.

The first time you race your tanks too far ahead of the infantry and get picked apart from anti tank guns you can't see,you'll be humbled :)
