The Daily Mail published some original photos from the First World War which have been coloured digitally by a very talented young technician – he has kept the colouring very understated and researched the correct shades and tones for uniforms and the like. Onscreen (at least, on mine) some of them look a bit sharp but when you see them printed on newspaper, they look frighteningly real. link |
