This is the premise of Wolfenstein New Order. This is an old school shooter, lone hero murders half a million tacho nazies in the 1960s, You fight nazis with tesla guns, nazi robots, nazi robot dogs. You want to run around with two automatic shotguns, sure do that. you want to violently stabb nazis in the throught. Sure go a head. |

My friend has been praising it
but I was a fan of the second one
which had more occult stuff going on
skeletons and zombies
vs. robot stuff that look like old Zoids figures. I also get the feeling that it's pretty much 'on rails'
with no real choices to make
no wandering off the plotline to explore (as in Deus Ex, Skyrim, Fallout
etc). |

No, this is story oriented, suprisingly alot of scenematics. You really get to know the character. Lots of cool secondary charcters. What i do know is that in the into to the game(that lasts like one hour) you get to choose between who lives and who dies among your comrads, and this effects the game. But there is lots of small secrets to find, so it's not on rails as to speak. The game even got a decent stealth part. with silenced guns and throwing knives. |
