Legendary singer Linda Ronstadt has revealed that not only has she been recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but that she can no longer sing because of it:

Past and present personalities who suffer(ed) from Parkinson's are actor Michael J. Fox, boxer Muhammad Ali, baseball second baseman and later manager Sparky Anderson, evangelist Billy Graham, and musician Maurice White of Earth, Wind, and Fire. Wikipedia has a full list of famous Parkinson's sufferers:

Best wishes and prayers to Ms. Ronstadt, and I thank her for the music she made.

Very sad. One of the few women I'd behave myself for.

I had a major crush on her back in the '70s. Very sad.

That's awful. There has never been a voice like hers.

There is so little talent in the world of music these days, we cannot afford to lose what little we have. I'm so sorry for her, to have that voice and be silenced.
