Just posted the Superman movie review on my blog. Also posted was Seth Rogen's 'This is the End': link |

I thought Man of Steel was a wasted opportunity, but This Is The End gets an A+ from me. The funniest movie I've seen in a long time. |

Man of Steel was a superb movie. |

I thought it excellent. 20 minutes too long probably, imo. It was very moving, as much of Kent's youth is shown in flashback. "About a man trying to run from his destiny" is how I've described it to friends. |

Man of Steel or slamming super people through walls and buildings again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and well you get it I hope. I have seen better thought out bar fights. it took superman the whole movie to come up with the idea to smash holes into the bad guys space ships. |

I liked it very much. Henry Cavill did a fine job in the title role, the writing held up and the special effects, of course, were out of this world. A great popcorn movie. |

I enjoyed it, but as said above, could have been a little shorter. And the endless building smashing was getting tiresome. Worth the price of admission. Xin |

Compared to earlier versions, Man of Steel, to me was very dark and depressing . The emphasis seems to be on CGI rather than character. The video game generation will love it as tings blow up real good
a lot. Saying that, Cavill does a great job with what he was given but Christopher Reeve will always be "My Superman" |
