It looks like a coffeemaker. |

It looks like a suppository. |

Looks pretty good. The specs are great. I did notice that there was nothing said about the price
. 3k perhaps. This is what the Mac Pro folks have been asking for. |

7 teraflops
hmmm
1250mb/s PCIe flash storage
hmmm
9.9" x 6.6"
Now that is Impressive
. I'm more interested in the next IMac or MacMini design, I think. Mac-Pro might end up being the next 20th anniversary or Cube, though, S'Truth~ |

Elmo still likes the iMac design: not having a CPU case makes for a cleaner desk. |

I'm with Parzival – I want one too, even though I have no real need for that much computing power. I wish I was more tech savvy, but the new graphics programs have interfaces which are – daunting – to say the least. |

I have a pretty solid PC which cost me a fraction of what the Mac would cost. I run Windows 7 and with a big fast SSD disk most important software runs like clockwork. Maybe if I win the lottery

Kinda looks like a beer cozie. But the stats are impressive.

Never wanted one and this doesn't change my mind. I will save my money for wargaming and stay with Linux. |

"Dang new-fangled contraptions and their danged fancy OSes. Bring back the Univac! And get off my punchcard interface!"

Nah, I have a couple of macs and don't really see the big advantage over a PC to justify the increased cost. |

I agree with Mr Elmo. And Volestagg may be right as well. Some Apple designs become classics, others just look great but date pretty quickly. Not sure this is a 10 year plus design. Hard for any two element design, no matter how pretty the elements are, to beat the aesthetic simplicity of everything in one big flat screen. Yeah, I know you can pack more into the beer can. |

I used to use Macs for running my music studio. Right now I'm a happy user of a 64 bit computer running Windows 7. However, Windows 8 and a bunch of other idiotic issues will eventually drive me back to Apple. |
