I am working on an old project involving car sales and I need to figure out what different things that a car buyer wants that influences there car buying decisions.

So far i have vehicle type, passenger capacity, and price. Is there anything else that I need to add to this list that is not just simple stuff like GPS, or passenger side airbags, ect.

First and foremost is reliability! Second comes the price.

How would I represent reliability in a gaming platform? These will be randomly drawn cards with different stats that will need to match the buyers to the cars available.

I used to sell cars many moons ago. Women were very concerned about safety. In general, performance, features, reliability, resale value and cost of payment per month.

There are just three questions a prospective buyer will ask about a particular car.

1. How fast is it?

2. How much does it cost?

3. Can I pull in it?

You can rep reliability as "estimated dollars per year in maintenance" and/or "annual chance of catastrophic failure".

Dont worry about "completeness" as much as the point of the game. You will never have a complete list. Figure out how many variables you want the players to juggle (or whatever your game purpose criterion is), grab an old Consumer Reports car buyers edition, and pick the stats you like.
