I'll be there opening day. I liked the first one, and I always like supporting Danny Trejo.

Altius30 May 2013 3:02 p.m. PST

Me too. It was filmed right here in Austin, and I like going to Robert Rodriguez movies and seeing if I recognize the places.

Charlie Sheen as Carlos Estevez! Too funny.

Yeah, count me in too…just to see the reappearance of the little Ice cream man push cart in the final battle would be worth the price of admission alone!

I DO wish they would make the THANKSGIVING movie though (from the original Grindhouse pair)…that would be a HOOT!

"Charlie Sheen as Carlos Estevez! Too funny."

His birth name, apparently.

Eclectic Wave31 May 2013 7:06 a.m. PST

What, doesn't anyone remember Emilio Estevez? Charlie's BROTHER?

Rich Trevino31 May 2013 10:20 a.m. PST

He's still stuck in Saturday detention, I suppose.

Dn Jackson31 May 2013 2:03 p.m. PST

Wow, that looks incredibly stupid. I'll pass.

The first one was great – take it in the spirit intended and you'll have a good time.

Bad Ass was not very good.

Wasn't Hobo with a Shotgun another "trailer first/movie after" movie?

Altius31 May 2013 3:52 p.m. PST

It's called "camp". You're really not supposed to take it so seriously.

Oddball31 May 2013 9:04 p.m. PST

The story that was so big that it needed to be told over two films.

How could it be a bad movie with Lady Gaga in it?

Missed the first one, even on DVD, so I'll have to see if I can work this one into my free time.

I actually like "Hobo with a shotgun".

jpattern201 Jun 2013 2:10 p.m. PST

Oddball, if you liked Hobo, I think you'll like the Machete flicks. They have a similar vibe.

This looks like fun. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the info.

Just saw the trailer today for Machete 2. The original Machete was fun, a grindhouse B-movie delight. It's funny and subversive, lampooning the immigration debate. If you (like me) like Tarantino and Rodriguez movies, this is right in your wheelhouse.

Plus, you can't go wrong with Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez.
