I definitely remember that his signature song, "Undercover Angel", was a BIG player on the radio in the summer of '77. The tune went with the mellow nature of the times, and its lyrics reflected the casual sexuality and fantasy that was so prevalent in that decade. As for "Angie Baby", it was a rather "interesting" piece. I recall seeing an episode of 'The Carol Burnett Show' in which Helen Reddy was a guest, and Carol and the late Harvey Korman did a visual performance to the song. It was unique.
