Looks
dunno? Big budget sci-fi. Could be fun.

Harrison Ford looks bored. I hope those weren't the highlights of his role. |

It looks every bit as good as I could have ever hoped! This is going to be a classic SF movie! |

It was a colossal bore as a book. I tried three times and never made it past halfway. Of course, by the time I tried to read Ender's Game I was OD'd on scifi-fantasy, that might have had something to do with it. I recall reading Terry Brooks' Shannara "trilogy" by reading the first line of each paragraph, until some action came up. That's how I was handling scifi at the time; too much, and too many borrowed motifs and plot devices. I don't think I have recovered to this day

It was great as a novella, fleshing out for backstory seem useless. |

I read the first 3 novels – but SMC is right – the novella was the best version. That's why I gave up on the series. But I'd like to see the film, although the "surprise twist" is not much of a surprise anymore, is it ? |

What Great War Ace said. Plus some other issues with the author which would get me DH'ed if vocalised. |

Also what 138SquadronRAF said. |

Great War Ace took the words right out of my mouth, and I'm a reader. I'll watch the movie though since I'm sure the movie will be action packed and FX-heavy. Plus, I'll be watching it with a 'fresh eye' and without any expections or preconceived notions from the book. |
