That's right, blame the mutt…

We had something similar happen, with a glass vase on the balcony and a burned spot in a carpet…

My cats say "Well, DUH! Of course it's the dog's fault".

The dog just wags apologetically in his own defense…

That fire department engineer is a pretty clever fellow to figure that out.

On a Houston aside, gee Critter, I canīt believe Dave Ward is still on channel 13. He must be a hundred years old! It is good to see some things will never change. Now if they could only bring back Kitterick.

I think she has died.
Ed Brandon has finally retired too.

Glad to hear sheīs still around (I hope she is, anyway!). Itīs funny, it was my dad who took me to be on her show for my birthday. I didnīt really understand at the time, but I sure figured it out later!

I believe it. My work gave out this glass globe with the company logo inside. Pretty cool looking and we put it on the window sill to admire it. A year later my daughter had a sunflower she was growing in a cup on the counter, it got a stem behind the globe, apparently right in the focal point of the globe, and it torched the stem. We happened to be standing right there, smelling something burning, and then turned and saw it happen.

Still, it's blaming the dog's bowl, not the dog.

The cat pushed it there.

Hey Texas Jack, do you a remember a kids show called Cadet Don and Seymour? I still have their first and only album!

Yeah and Kitterick was hot looking back.

Texas Jack04 May 2013 6:36 p.m. PST

You bet I remember Cadet Don! I had the LP too, which was great. I liked the original more than Cadet Don Davis, but he still was much better than Captain Kangaroo!

The cat pushed it there.

Shouldn't it be the owners' fault? They're the ones who put the dog bowl in that location.

Streitax05 May 2013 7:31 p.m. PST

Hell, they're the ones who BOUGHT the dang thing. It's the dog's fault because he didn't drop it in the garbage pail?
