Singer& actress Deanna Durbin has passed. Age 91. Retired from show buisiness at 28 after a good solid film career in the 1930's and '40's,mostly in musicals. |

Since Deanna was born in Winnipeg she was especially popular amongst Canadian Forces in WW2. My father, A RCAF veteran,saw her in several shows and always liked her. Of course American fores loved her too as can be seen from this picture of a B24 from the380th Bombardment group
