Shiaiii!!! Dorsai!

It doesn't jam, run out of ammo, easy to maintain, quiet(except for the screaming), extends your reach and safe in the home.

I keep a bokken(wooden practice sword) made of Japanese red oak next to my bed. It'll cave in your skull.

Don't all Mormon bishops carry Samurai swords?
Or do I have them confused with Methodists?

This begs the question: Is he a paladin, or a dual-classed fighter/cleric?

My Mormon weapon of choice is a Taurus 38 Special built on a Smith and Wesson Patent. It never jams, easy to maintain and I have gotten pretty good at targeting. But if the world ever goes to crap my weapon of choice is a 22 Caliber long riffle. The gun is light, the ammo is light, you can carry 1000's of rounds without any effort and they are cheap. But for in home protection I have a 12 gauge shot gun pump with the plug out. This allows me to load five shell rather then the three. I prefer the four shot shell. Not too big but big enough to stop you in your track and I never miss. When I see someone with a sword I think of Indiana Jones. That's how it will probably end.
