link I'm guessing the logic of the Eritrean Air Force staff was, "Send the woman, she'll never defect. They don't even let women drive cars in Saudi Arabia." Of course that does give an indication into how unpleasant things are in Eritrea, when a woman pilot (qualified to fly jets, no less) seeks asylum in such a place. |

It is sobering that she would be driven to that. But it does remind me of the scene in one of the Lethal Weapon movies where Danny Glover tried to immigrate to South Africa. |
