Agreed. I wasn't thinking too much other than, "look ANOTHER Superman reboot." Now though this looks worth seeing, especially since ZOD is in it. :) Kneel before ZOD! (though that will always be Terence Stamp to me the child of the '80s that I am.) |

It does look pretty good. Superman, whether in comic or movie format, I've always thought was a tough sell. He is almost indestructible. His one weakness is something that doesn't actually exist so it is a matter of someone finding or making some to get that over him. To get a villain that comes close to challenge him he has to be just about the only one that can take it on. And you pretty much need a Kryptonian or Darkseid. And at this point they probably can't do Darkseid. |

Looks ok, just two tiny little nitpicks. 1) Lens Flares, stupid, overdone, unnecessary. 2) Washed out colours, I'm red-green colour blind, I'll probably watch this in 3D which already robs everything of about 25% of its colour anyway. Might as well do it in black and white. I'm tired of seeing movies where the sun shines brightly on a dull grey sky. |
