Ive been having difficulty with internet explorer not saving my browsing history. Is there a fix for this?

Switch to Firefox, perhaps. It isn't a solution for IE, so sorry about that. But you can carry over your favorites and firefox is a better browser, IMHO.

Thanks,

John

I've not used IE for many years, but some browsers have a "private mode" which won't save things to your history, keeps your caches clear, etc – used by some folks when they are browsing 'private' sites (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more). Maybe this has been switched on?

There's some more info about it here: link

(Also, the advice to switch to Firefox is good)

I gave up on IE years ago and switched to Firefox – much better and more stable

Re IE go to the Tools Button and open up Internet Options. Check to see if the box is checked to delete favorites on exit
Then open and review the settings

If you do all this you should be able to save
