Meaning, a piece of music that you can't get out of your head, and you just keep humming it until you are sick of it and you keep humming it again and…
You get the idea.
With me, sooner or later they fade away, but something else takes their place.

I have two.
This one came up totally unexpected. I only remember Sinead O'Connor from that horrible Prince thingie. I clicked on it for no particular reason while surfing YouTube.

I'll say one thing, it sure scared me off trying to read the language of my ancestors! grin
Them letters make no sense!
BTW, it also lead me to track down some more of her singing, like ""Danny Boy", and "The Foggy Dew". That's a good thing.

This one is a bit easier.

I lead me to look up "fais do-do".
Strange that French makes more sense to me than the language of my fathers… grin
I was listening to him back in the 70s. I got a minor ear worm from this song back then, and I guess it never died.
So, naturally, I tracked down even more Doug Kershaw.

I would have thousands more figures painted if it were not for YouTube.

You should have seen it before they reformed the spelling. Now it really does make sense. Mostly.

If I had a Steely Dan ear worm, I would but a bullet through my ear. After all, it's not going to hit anything imporant.

I can't tell whether you're insulting me or Steely Dan.

Streitax06 Apr 2013 10:55 p.m. PST

Definitely Steely Dan. I simply pity you. :o)

I believe it's a B-side originally. Their first CD, Keep On Your Mean Side, was re-issued as a Deluxe Edition with some extra songs. This is the best.
