Just announced today: link Seems like their "world" has gotten a bit smaller. |

Perhaps "safer" is the goal here – only venues where they are "safe" from the potential problems of other venues. Would be great to see them, but I doubt I'd have the money or the funds to get to any of the venues which would be "close." |

Yeah, Jovian, I'm thinking that they won't be rolling into Texas anytime soon, if at all. I did some quick research and found that the last time Mick and the boys were in the state was back in 2005, when they played in Dallas (November 29) and Houston (December 1) as part of their "A Bigger Bang" tour. But it was waaaaay back on July 18, 1978 when they played at the Will Rogers Memorial Center's Coliseum in Fort Worth in support of their "Some Girls" album. |

I love when they sing: "Hey! You! Get off of my lawn!" |

The Old Bastards still owe me tickets from 1982! I was part of a team of 10 High School artists that made a banner that wrapped around the ENTIRE inside of the Hampton, VA convention center for their concert and we were promised 10 tickets for the job. They gave us 2 and said "Tough luck" after we delivered ahead of schedule. |

My uncles, all very young men at the time, saw them at the Cotton Bowl in 1981. Tickets were $17 USD ! And for no reason, here are the 'Stones doing "Sympathy for the Devil" to a VERY laid back audience in 1968. To give an idea, imagine the 'Stones appearing on the Lawrence Welk Show: YouTube link |
