"…Although the previous two seasons of the show have remained quite faithful to the plot of the original books by George R. R. Martin — give or take a few minor differences — Turner, who plays the eldest daughter of Ned Stark, warned that "[in] season 3, there are kind of bigger differences. The book readers will be super shocked."

And while season three primarily depicts the events in the first half of the third novel, A Storm of Swords, Martin told Wired that "the divisions into novels is almost arbitrary. I'm writing one story that has a beginning and quite a lot of middle, and hopefully an end…"

Continuity between 4 and 5 is laughable. Sam's story alone is terribly disjointed.

Book four was a letdown to say the least. I imagine there would be some viewers who are unfamiliar with the books who would be upset if they shot it as written.

They have already shown a scene from your favorite part on a website last week, don't recall which site. It was just a little teaser, if you hadn't read the Books, it would slip right past unnoticed!

As someone who has read the Sookie Stackhouse novels and watches "Tru Blood", I have to admit a TV adaptation _can_ improve a series if it takes a slightly different direction.

So, here's hoping . . .
